About Doktor Know

DoKtor Know is a mythical figure in the underground, but he’s just a music freak, the same as you. As much as the ‘good doctor’ is a music connoisseur, he’s really just a die-hard radio fanatic with a decades-long infatuation with the spirit of Nikola Tesla’s greatest invention: the sound of voice (and music) transmitting free and wirelessly over the (internet) radio “airwaves”.

Originating in the Northeastern USA, DoKtor Know now wanders North America, stopping in a different region every so often, before picking up and ‘getting out of Dodge’ just before the law shows up. Bouncing to and from the Northeast, to the Southwest, and now the Southeast, he is believed to be holed up currently in an undisclosed location somewhere in the swamps of the Everglades.

Join DoKtor Know each and every weekday between 1-5 PM Eastern Time, 10 AM - 2 PM Pacific Time for the most unusual Rock N’ Roll playlist broadcast anywhere on Earth. Expect to hear most if not all of the following: Hard Rock, Punk, Metal, Psychedelic, Garage, Indie, Fuzz, Stoner, Hardcore, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Latin, World, Industrial, Surf, Reggae, Ska, Folk, Funk, R&B, Soul, Fusion, Progressive, Alternative, Blues, Jazz, and many others.

Basement bands, garage bands, signed bands, unsigned bands… Indie bands, high school marching bands, college marching bands, wedding bands (which is a two-fer if you stop to think about it). Waistbands, elastic bands, lap bands, and yes, you guessed it, rubber bands! We’re not too picky about it. Your best friend Jimmy’s band, your Aunt Karen’s band, your neighbor Charlie’s band… We don’t really care all that much.
